Joey Arrigo is a certified life coach through the Transformational Arts College of Toronto who works with creatives, queer folks, and anyone ready to live on their own terms. His coaching helps clients break out of narrow, inherited ideas of what a ‘successful’ life should look like and instead use mind‑mapping, goal‑focused planning, and compassionate accountability to define success, pleasure, and purpose for themselves — then build a clear path from where they are to where they want to be.

Joey helps gay men shed shame and perfectionism to become more present, embodied, and confident in their bodies, careers, relationships, and communities. His coaching is for men who feel boxed in by metropolitan standards—where body shape, bank balance, or relationship status are treated as worth—and who want to choose lives that actually fit them, whether thriving single or loved for exactly who they are.
Drawing on his experience as a queer artist, yoga teacher, HIV-positive advocate, and educator, Joey works with both the body and the mind. Sessions often begin with simple, accessible yoga-based tools to help clients land in their bodies and nervous systems. From there, Joey guides clients through clear mind-mapping and action planning to bridge the gap between their current reality and the future they actually want to live.
CLIENT STORIES OF CHANGE
“Joey made me realise my superpowers and use them for my own advantage. He reminded me of the things that I forgot. Talking to him was so easy and I found him to be very empathetic and empowering. I felt heard and seen for who I was and I found genuine care from him. He also helped me how to show up for myself and talk to myself with more compassion and softness. 💛💛💛”

“Joey is a true holistic Coach! He’s able to create a powerfully transformative coaching process with his extensive knowledge of the human body and mindfulness techniques from yoga training, on top of his life coaching skills. We were able to work not just on my goals but on the very foundation of my lifestyle, doing deeper work to regulate my nervous system, tackling limiting thoughts and beliefs and overall finding an inner rhythm that can support my desired life goals. As a person Joey brings a shinning light of encouragement, understanding and support, with lightness and humor, like your own cheerleader that can also hold you accountable when needed! He was always able to create a safe space for me to open up fully and did a wonderful job in connecting with me, always making me feel heard and seen. I highly recommend Joey if you need to go beyond emotional work and also work on your relationship with your body, he will help you nurture your vessel to accommodate the changes you want to see in your life.”

A ravenous beast dwells inside a body. She roams the darkness tempting other insatiable bodies, driven by the need to satisfy her senses. Before devouring her next catch, they engage—summoning the primordial hunger for satisfaction. They build strength from the hubris they feed off of one another. But this pleasure brings about a consequence, an entrapment to last a lifetime. A cosmic loop of captor and captive. She becomes re-born at each turn, manifesting the love for life. She is VITA LOVE.

PHILOSOPHYI believe in the power of storytelling to bring dance to a deeper place. I was always known for having an immense technical understanding of the dancer’s instrument and came to realize that movement without storytelling solely remains in the physical realm. Incorporating our truth of the human experience brings dance to a deeper, spiritual level. Diving into truth and utilizing dance to express emotions brings the art form to a therapeutic level. Our bodies create joy, laughter, and tears; and furthermore, connect our viewers to these relatable experiences. This is when the art form, independently of technical understanding, becomes brilliance.
